About Us
Tunkuwallin Tennis & Sports Club Inc. was established in 1997. The Club is the place where people get together to have a good time and is a focal point for entertainment, leisure and sporting activities, with particular emphasis on promoting the game of tennis, in Summerland Point and Gwandalan. Hence why the Club is named Tunkuwallin, which is Aboriginal for “many fields of play”.

Tunkuwallin Tennis and Sports Club is located conveniently on Summerland Road, just turn left at the main roundabout for Gwandalan and Summerland Point off Kanangra Drive and continue along Summerland Road until you see the Club. We actively promote sporting activities throughout the local community, in particular men’s and ladies tennis as well as junior tennis and tennis coaching. Other activities supported by our Club include the Tunkuwallin Recreational Fishing Club and our Social Darts Club. 

The Club is popular with our Members due to our special events and weekly activities which are well supported. Our aim is to provide an excellent family friendly environment and with the recent improvements to our outdoor areas and the refurbishment of the TAB and Darts areas, makes the Club more enjoyable for our Members and their guest.

Regulatory compliance is always a major priority and we liaise regularly with the various authorities to make sure there are no breaches.  The commitment of the Board of Directors, Staff and the support of our Members ensures the ongoing growth of the Club and allows us to look to the future with confidence.
